You can't use a condenser mic with the microphone (XLR) connections on the Delta 1010LT. Condenser mics require phantom power, which the Delta does not supply. You're going to need a mixer or a preamp with phantom power to connect the mic to, and then the output of the mixer/preamp to the Delta.

I'm very suprised to say the least. I simply stuck two crappy dynamics above the cymbals. First time micing drums. Went right into my Delta's XLR jacks. I had nothing to monitor on so I couldn't really adjust the levels. I'll post more examples of what I'm getting for results.

You can, but if you're talking about recording off these direct outs, but it sounds like you'll be recording the compression as well, and that's something you can't remove later on. Of course, I may have misinterpreted the question! ;)
