Well, they are 2 different mixes now.

It's really hard to hear. What is there is pretty bright. Not near enough low mids and lows. Chessrock is right I think, you have a tendancy to mix/track pretty bright. That mastering you did of my tune was pretty sizzlely.

I think you're nuts. I've listened to both back to back and there may be a little high end loss on the myspace file. Nothing drastic like you are describing. I think you want to hear a difference and therefore do. Neither have what I would call punch.

Listening to PET now. There's more bass guitar than there is guitar. See to me, that is not powerful. It's smooth but but it's not what I would call an upfront POWERFUL/CRUNCHY guitar sound. It sounds more like yours. Too much gain which produces a very compressed sound. There's no attack.

For my double track, I usually just turn the gain down just a touch and the mids up just a touch. Or vice versa depending on starting point.
