make sure on th midid track within sonar that you have the gr33 selected to be used, it might still be using you soundcards midi. If i completely missed you quietion i apologize.

the 1010 LT is amazing, i got it for 180 and it sounds almost as good as a friend of mine's MOTU

panning during tracking is a waste of time, just record everything to its own track on Sonar, then you pan as you want. this way you have more control in the mix and wont ha ve to retrack if something ends up being not the way you want. I can't answer you second question, i am fine just mixing...

I have reason adapted for m-audio, which came with my soundcard and for some reason when i went to open reason it said that there was error and it couldn't find the "engine." I then uninstalled and reinstalled reason but it still had the same error. What is wrong?

how? i record everything as close as i can get and then i turn down everything but snare usually.

about the properly during tracking thing. I record everything at as close to 0 db as i can get it. Then i mix. I dont see what you are saying.

i basically meant what chess said, except for the phase stuff. sorry if it was confusing, but try it, it saves a lot of time.

Another note, the copy paste things works really good in a computer mixing program (i use sonar 5) when you want to get something that is maxing out to be louder. It basically is like turning everything else down around it in reality, but it is a lot less of a hassle

On ebay they have a lot of very powerful stereo poewer amps (like 2,000 watts) that go for around 200 dollars. Will these work, with a mixing board as a PA system? If not, why?
