Yes some timing issues and a bit of out of tuneness in the vocals at times.. But I like it alot.. AIC'ish....
Some neat things are getting lost in the mix. Don't know how to describe it ..
I think the acoustics lack som mid's or highs in the beginning before the dist starts...

I remember when I first started recording I had a DOD Eq in my rack.. I used the stupid thing just because it was there. It did more harm than good but I just had to incorporate it in my recordings because it existed...
There is no way you will be able to record with that equipment... Where are the Avalons?

Looks like an excellent setup! That is about the money I "INVESTED" in my studio.
I justified spending the money like I would a student loan... Always learning.

I did try it out as a mic pre... That is not my intended us though..
Anyway, I tested it as a DI on keys and it did add a little punch and fullness to the cheap board I am using.. BUT, this thing puts out as much noise/hiss as those cassette tapes that used to sell 25 for a $1. Very noisy.
