i dont think quad wrap will sound any different . it offers better shielding from noise i believe .i have the kiwi blues and like them . also on ebay you can get canare and mogami hand made cables for great prices...
looks like something guiutar ceenter would carry. they would have to special order the tape though i bet. i guess if you spend 79$ on a axe like that you need these accessories.
sm7 is a large dynamic mic. its been a good choice on loud singers and screamers. its sounds kinda smooth. if your use to alot of detail your better off with a large condenser. i love the audio technica 4040. very clean and natural. i just seen one for 209$ on the auction sites.
vtb-1 didnt have enough character when i used it. the tube mp has a hint of color to it. ive never found it to be noisey though. i tried jj-s and bugle boy 12 ax7-s and to me its just a different shade. i dont think changing tubes in these toob dealios makes a big difference. maybe changing op...
yea they are sneaky when it comes to power rating because most dont know what it all means. im gonna guess they are 8 ohms. so when you look at power ratings on an amp look at what the power is at 8 ohms each side. more is power is better.also a singer i work with kept blowing his yamaha...
you could get 2 audio technica 4040-s on ebay for 400$. if you have a small room i like these better than a pencil type condenser mic. then you would have mics for acoustic guitars and not too shaby on vocals and just about anything really.
it will cancel mostly low stuff and does work for my set up. ive tried it many times. im not fond of the thinner sound but feedback will be cut in half. in a small rehersal place your probably not using monitors and dont forget the mic will most often be in front of the P.A.speaker. the loop...
the mics should be fine. if you do wanna try a different mic get a couple sennheiser e-835s. i like how they cut through compared to a 58 in a small room. if its just a small practice place with vocals only you could try flipping the speaker (+) (-) terminals on the cabinet or wire the speaker...
although sounding good to me it has the demo quality to it. the drums are mush and the singer needs a de-esssser. i dont care about the type of music. its not a show case piece to me by any means just a good job with equipment at hand.
that wasnt a garage sale . it was probably a guuitar center. they are hard to tell apart sometimes. you should have known though by all the sales people teenagers talking on cell phones walking around in circles. if it took you over an hour to buy that one microphone you were definatley there.
behringer is cheap budget so is the brick. the brick is cheap and has a tube . so what^ is that supposed to mean magic warmth? now get back to recording. my tube mp will beat your blue tube l.o.l.
jpw23- you got my curiousity with the washburn. i bought one new off ebay for 35$. figured you cant go wrong. it does indeed look like the crybaby and is built like a tank. the only thing i hate is that the battery indicator l.e.d. lite is on the footboard and pops out when you click the wah...
