pulling the tube from a ARTtube mp will make it not work at all. not all toob pre-s are the same. i love my tube mp. i changed the op amps in it to 2134-s and what a difference combined with a euro tube 12 ax/7.

the demos on the korg box are decent but i can hear digital artifacts in the first demo. the v-amp 2 i use to have had similar digital clicky underneathe problemos. the original pod 2.0 is what stays in my studio for scratch tracks. i would say with the processors in these things getting better...

im not 100% but i seem to remember with the beta series they are using the stronger rare earth magnets in them. like the ev mics use. i think its neodyminium magnets. they t have like 4 x-s the strength of a regular magnet. sounds good anyway.
