    Acoustic Rock (Feedback Wanted)

Peter, Ther recording and arrangement are top notch. Very smooth. I'm curious about your setup. I also agree about the Disney movie. My only problem is with the song itself which is a bit on the sweet side for my taste. Nice job, Oren

    She's 12

Chris (and Jaimee) - This is truely beautifull. She dfoesn't sound 12 to me. I worked with kids a lot during the last 2 summers and I'm always amazed to see how much talent kids have at such ages. I'm also truely impressed by her taste in music. Keep it up! We'd all want to hear more! Oren

    good not great!

That's freakin' awsome man. The vocals could come up, but this is pretty amazing as is. What kind of setup do you have going there? Oren

Some good condensers to buy PLEASE!

Hey Harvey, In what sence? I have an 1006, and while I like it a lot, I never heared the V67 (or the 2003, for that matter), and always wondered what's the difference (or what's better for what purpose). Thanks, Oren

    drunk last night

Hi Erland! Good to see you back here mate. I just came back two weeks ago from my summer job in the US (Summer camp). The song is good. Definitly up to your standards, but the guitar is driving me crazy - boomy on one hand and dull on the other. Why don't you re-record the guitar part with your...

    Marshall V67G Survived

Had a similar story with an MXL 1006. I used a lousy mic stand and it just spontaneously cracked. Did absolutely nothing to it. I guess these MXLs are tougher then you'd think... O.

ST Audio? Is it an alternative

Beezoboy, don't get the St-audio for the mic pre-amps. They're useless. A friend of mine has it, and the pre-amps are just too weak for any use I can think of. The card itself is pretty nice, though. Oren

    BBE...ouchies on my earsies....see here.

Oh well, another proof of my manifest that Green Day should be shot for ruining young minds... :D These guys sure have talent, but I'd love to hear what they could do if someone would force them to listen to other styles of music... I liked the raw version better... I know I'm in minority...

    Home Recording Startup

Dustinself - Using the Boss just to get tracks in the computer does seems like a pretty expensive way to do it... I wouldn't say a waste, though. There probablt be situations when you'll be gratefull for the Boss' portability, and ease of use. It seems like what you want to do can be achieved...

    Home Recording Startup

No that I understand what exactly you are trying to do (or why, for that matter), but as lpdeluxe said - the cheapest Optical In port for a computer is the Edirol UA-1D. You can also use a Sound Blaster Live or Audigy with a digital daughter-board. If you already have an SB-Live, it may be worth...

    Noisy soundfont recording. GRRR!

Hi guys, I wrote myself a string arrangement that I was actually happy with, and I even found a soundfont that I liked. Then, I started recording the MIDI track to audio files with N-track, using the SB-Live with MIDI as the recording source (Thinking it'll be the shortest possible signal...

    Duo problems (IRQ?)

Yep. I need the SB for MIDI, which the Duo doesn't provide. I'll try M-audio's tech support... Oren

    Duo problems (IRQ?)

brzilian - I didn't even try to use 24 Bits. There should be no problems with 2 channels of 16 bit audio. I heared of a lot of problems with the first batches of the Quatro, but according to what I heared, the Duo drivers are pretty decent. Apparently, I can't change the IRQ settings for the...

Hmm.... I'm using Winsows ME, and the IRQ in question is 11. No idea what ACPI is... Thanks anyway! Oren
