Yes- I record to SD cards as well - and while I use a different platform than the Zoom - I would start there: make sure your machine is updated to the latest firmware and either try doing a full reformat of your existing card - or try a brand new card altogether. Not sure about the Zoom - but...

I believe the TS cables will work - but may not give you the best performance. The Scarlett outputs TRS balanced cables - and the Presonus monitors accept TRS balanced cables. I highly recommended you get the TRS.

Is the music here "canned"? And you're just adding the vocal? Vocal performance sounds pretty good. A more laid back tempo would improve this (that's just my taste - the Sara Bareilles version is the gold standard for me and it is incredibly laid back) . But yeah - overall sounds pretty good.

Hmmmm.... I've got a Sony CDR-W33 and a Tascam CD-RW700 and have never had an issue with CD's produced by either one. I have had various CD players over the years that seem to be finicky about certain CD manufacturers/brands.
