Theres a good chance that it would use java, yes.
But why are you so hesitant to delete it? If it's there, theres probably a reason it's there (along with all other system files)
That's very true, the minute someone says 'We play like... everything' or 'I listen to everything' I automaticly turn off. Where as if they said break-core polka grind i would be intruiged.
Both small diaphragm pencil condensor mics to be used as overheads for a drumkit, may also be used on acoustic guitar, piano, and perhaps vocals. (But not as much)
BUT before I am recommended the SM81 or any high end condensor, I am 14 years old and my aim is simply to do some project recording...
I find being pretty buzzed after a few drinks helps your nerves at the beginning, theres no real problem if your a punk band :)
But if your doing a big band or marching band performance and your off the rocker, it's a bit different.
But as far as nerves go, after about the first song you...
OK, I've realised now that I've completely stolen the main thread-starters thread, BUT:
Can you guys recommend me some firewire mixers that are similar to the Yamha MW12 (6 mic inputs) and all of the channels have a A/D converter
damn it.
is this because it is usb, not firewire?
if so, whats the point in using USB then, simply low latency/noise and to bypass the PC's stock sound card?
Hey i know this post is a little old but ive been wanting to know - will the MW12 be able to digitally put all of the channels on cubase so you can for instance be like channel 1 kick, channel 2 snare etc that you can edit later? or can it only mix down to stereo?
*Official hi-jacking of a 2 year old thread*
bump! i have this exact question, but i think its better to bump this thread rather than making a new one, no? because if i made a new one everyone would say 'search'
anyway, which would be better in general? id use for vocals and drum overhead
well i just moved my drums into the area where my bed was, and it sounds way better.
my predicition was because my room has a very high ceiling, and that area with my drums had such a small width that it was reverberating up and up and kept going on, where as in the new area theres more space...
did you listen to the sound clip? its not that there is something electrical causing the humm - its something to do with reverbation in that area methinks
anyway im swapping the position of my drums with my bed now and i think it will sound better - since i noticed when clapping in the area of...
Hello all,
I have just moved into a new house, and I'm having problems with my drums when recorded, i never had this problem in my old room:
when i record my drums i get this humm after my toms/kick are hit, just in case you want to know, i recorded in both rooms with a single sm57 as overhead...
welcome to this forum man, firstly i wanna start by saying various people will say plenty of stuff about how your wasting your money, and then once you get the sm57 people will say that you wasted your money on that too and so on.
so you have to remember now, and in the future on ALL...
are you joking? you have to be joking
who are you trying to impress?? if your trying to impress someone who knows anything about professional audio they will know its a crap/broken mixer.
and if your trying to impress somone who doesnt... then why the hell are you doing that?
Hey, I wanted to know if any software exists that works as an Effector Rack/Effects Controller to be used live, but on the computer. Whereas a soundsource would go through the computer and come out 'effected', live?
It's a little hard to explain, but it would be used for instance bringing a lap...
most of these tips would be great but im using windows XP and alot of stuff is moved around in comparison to the version of windows that the author is using.......... does anyone know how i can temporarily switch to his layout? ive tried using 'windows classic layout' but it came to no avail.......
well all im gonna say is that doesnt look safe to click
but i will also say that this is the wrong section to be spamming internet virus sites.... it doesnt have much to do with keyboards and sound modules
well you could spend the $2000 on better recording equipment/mics to be able to make the live drums sound good enough, and those mics could double up to be used on other instruments when overdubbing.
this seems a better choice seeing as your not actually a 100% drummer, and only play them to...
What cable are you using now to connect the mixer to the soundcard? Are the left/right outputs RCA (white/red) jacks?
If they are you need something like this:
They White/Red RCA jacks plug into the Left/Right outputs of the mixer, and the 1/8" Jack goes into the 'line in' on the PC soundcard.
