Well it will be used both a band rehearsals and also in the house .... so a mixture of both really .... i don't want to buy something that will degrade the sound quality of the mics ..... so i still am not sure what to go for .... i think i migt just wait a while and get the M-Audio DMP 3 ..it...

My friend went for the lexicon in the end..... hes a drummer ya see ..and he wants to be able to record 4 mics simultaneously ...plus he has a lot of money and could afford it ... it all really depends what you will be using the audio interface for .... are you gonna be playing guitar and...

we pla kinda ....bluesy / country / acoustic rock with the odd harmonica and distorted les pauls guitar lead break in there .... the closest thing i can describe us as is a mixture between bob dylan and zeppelin .... strange i know :confused:

I used to use my Boss GT-6 FX Pedal ....but ever since i started to mic my marshall amp i have been getting much better results ...all the best Zim keep Rockin!!! :D

My friend was actually in a really similar situation to you not so long agao and i helped him try and find an audio interface that he could use with his lap top ... ok first off i'm no expert at this myself.... but here a few things that looked good to me M-Audio Mobile Pre USB...

Yeah i often wondered that myself? because in cakewalk sonar if asks you to choose which recording technique ... mono or stereo .... would i pan the guitar on the 12th fret hard right ...then record this track into the computer as a mono track and pan that hard right in cakewalk ... then pan...

Can anyone tell me of their experience with this preamp... i don't have much money to play around with and i have heard that this preamp is good for the price ... i wanna use a condenser mic with it (MXL 990 / 991) Thanks in advance

0 Db Yeah on my hi-fi stereo the louder I turn up the volume the closer it gets to -0 Db ... I often wondered why this happened ... Also on Cakewalk Sonar - it clips if it goes above 0 Db .... hmmmm can someone explain this phenomenon to me :confused:

lol Yeah ...i read a lot of posts on the forum saying that screwing the ball off the 58 made it more like the 57 ...lol i dunno :D
