I did have something odd happen the other day, I opened a project done in Cuebase 8 in 8.5 and a few of the tracks would not play, opened it back up in version 8 and it played fine. no idea why.

I like it, as been said the cymbals are a bit harsh, I was having the same issue on some tracks, I got the waves DPR-402 plugin last week and its really good, also the Trans-X.

I think it will, I have 8.5 and have been able to open projects recorded on 7. to be safe you can export the tracks for your projects and always import them into the new version.

Hey All, after 2 years of all my gear being in storage I am finally getting the studio back online. I was finally able to get a house with room to set it all up.

Changed the setting WASAPI in device settings. Fixed it. Don't have any idea why. Lol

FYI. The pc is a I5 processor, 1.8 GHZ, with 8 GB of ram.

Thanks Gecko, he is monitoring through the interface. Using the monitor output. If we enable the monitor on the track we get a delay. The only way to get rid of the delay is to turn off the monitor on the track. We have tried the direct monitor feature on the interface and it makes no difference.
