Thanks for the insights. I've played with it, and like it so far. Question: I created a drum track in nTrack using DoD. Now, how can I create a whole wav file (about 4 mins.) from the connected drum loops? I'd like to burn it to a CD, then transfer to my digital recorder (Fostex VF80)...

I am thinking it would be easiest to just use nTrack, but I wondered if I'd miss out on some magical purpose behind FL, etc... I downloaded hotstepper, but the zip file is corrupt. Thanks anyway.

Using VF80 to record -- Yamaha headphones, then dump to nTrack on PC, where I use Roland MA-8. Don't be embarrassed, y'all -- we live in the real world, with sleeping kids, neighbors, families, etc...

So, it sounds as if rack effects are best in the effects loop, while floor pedals are best when put before the amp? I've never had rack effects, just a few pedals -- Dunlop wah, various Boss... pretty simple setup. I guess it's all about experimenting.

Lead guitar sounds thin. Needs some mids for a meatier tone, to better go along with the mood of the song. And you seem to have a good voice -- like me, you have to push it out more. It sounds reserved. A good scream, as someone told me, is useful. Good effort!~ G

Ha, I know what this is -- I do it all the time!!! :D It's when the vocal or other note fades in and out of tune. In other words, the pitch changes. Caused by a lack of control and/or proper tuning.
