    Quick Critiques please....

You're 35? Nice spelling. Nice maturity. Nice homophobia. I throw it around due to people not seeming to realise calling people GAY isn't funny after the age of 13.

It doesn't really hurt me as much when coming from a homophobic adolescent.

Actually quite funny. I have another. I thought, that this, Thread of epic proportions. Had died. LONG. Ago, yet... Some pricks, STILL think, they can slag me off; WITHOUT retaliation. They're obviously delusional.

Oh, homophobia. The funniest. "Poetry A literary expression in which language is used in a concentrated blend of sound and imagery to create an emotional response." I class the work as Poetry, and thus it is. You can't make it any easier to understand than that.

No you're the dipshit. Look up the word "context". I said it doesn't matter in modern POETRY/PROSE.

Just ask Huck Gutman. My name is Huck Gutman, and I am interested in poetry. I teach at the University of Vermont, and am so fascinated by what poems can do, so entranced by them, that I would like to share my fascination with others. I've developed web pages on which I talk about some of...

In modern poetry/prose you don't need grammar; dipshit.

First Mix in the New Studio

Shame about the snare and kick because I like the sound from the cymbals and hats. more bass please. Or less guitar. Maybe a tad more of the toms. You've captured the singer well and the screamer. I quite like the song. The harmony guitar could be tighter.

How to use the CAPSLOCK key. IMAGE ONE. The Keyboard. The more IT literate among you may recognise image one as a keyboard. This article hopes to break down some of the mysteries of the keyboard and allow you to fully appreciate its usage...

    My studio.

I just use the mixer on it. But as I do most of my shit on the PC, with Adobe Audition, it's not needed unless I'm using 2 mics or instruments etc..

    I Understand

No I'm making comments on the song as a whole hence me mentioning I was listening in mono, I have my PA hooked up to my PC and not enough time at this moment to swap it back.

Laidback oldie that needs to be redone. "shadows"

I'm liking the vocals. The lyrics sound great so far. The music is nice too, the only down point is I could imagine Robbie Williams singing it. Bass has kicked in. Nice. You really could do with a nicer crash sample. Something with more decay. My advice is to go on cymbal selling websites...

    I Understand

Unfortunately that's how it works around here. Expect the dummy to be spat out at your arrogance for even suggesting it wasn't constructive. I feel the harmonies are too full on and that you need to raise the vocals up out of the mix (as I can't hear them clearly). Other than that, not my cup...

    The worst song ever...

Oh and did you auto tune your vocals harshly in one bit, or is that effect meant to be there? Sounds pretty DJ Shadow/Radiohead ish. Which is a good mix.

    The worst song ever...

Mixing wise, I'll leave it to the experts. I like the song. The guitar is occasionally sloppy, but it's well written. If I were you I'd try and keep it down to about 3mins45 if you plan to do anything with it properly. Nice one.

    Quick Critiques please....

Cheers, I've had comments about the panning before. I don't know how it's meant to be done but I always imagine a band on a stage. The middle of the stage is 0 - Centre. Then I pan the instruments how they would be placed - with the exception of the backing vocals in this case. I'll go back and...
