i was watching alot of youtube tutorials etc. last night and one seemed to focus mostly on microphones. it was more geared toward voice overs but said it could more than likely apply to other studio needs.
for his condenser mic he used a ShureSM57 i think it was, or maybe it was the 27 like...
thanks that's what i thought too, but i was wondering if i was missing something in what he meant and what i've allready found out myself lol. i guess not. this really makes me laugh, but i had to be sure. thanks:) hope you have a nice day:D
i just read something someone wrote elsewhere and they said 'buy an audio interface instead of an external sound card, you wont regret it.' (but that's it). do most people agree with this? thanks
i also enjoy Year of The Cat by Al Stewart:):D i'll try to think of some with everything you were talking about but i think there are way too many to list:)
hi misterbill, i've had some very wierd song writing experiences too, kinda like yours (but too embarrassed to tell them lol). cool story, i think it would be very cool to hear your song:) i'm the same as you tho, i am worried about sharing any of my songs, because i think they are just too...
nothing offended me about it except dummy, there's some kind of freaking aura that vibes around people who say that alot. some kind of wave that smells like noone ever taught them any better. there's funny and then theres not funny, dummy. you don't know the difference
your lucky this is a bbs and not real life because i may be an easygoing person but i'm not a full blown hippy and if you said that to me in real life i'd crack your ass!
my thunderbird looked like this (the pic at bottom of post) but it was 'hotrodded out' with better rims, sunroof, stereo system etc. until the dark rainy night.
safety dance is a cool song, i've always loved it. right now i'm listening to the land down under:):D
p.s. i think that is what...
my dad bought me a white t-bird a couple of years ago but i ran it into a pole and totalled it on a dark rainy night. no lie. i'm so ashamed of myself. now i am driving a saturn from a bad credit place that i paid way too much for
i didn't think you were knocking me for it:) i agree with what you say about how were all different. i'm pretty omnidirectional, its very hard for people to understand me, very, very hard.
but i disagree about the multimeter, a man with a multimeter has never rocked my boat. (i wish one did or...
and dinty i am more like the woman in this video (but not all the time of course)
video
i think if i threw myself into electronics and things, it would be a bad decision for myself/mylife and would actually ruin my music, that is just me
i understand what your saying, i think that's great. i think that people should do as much on their own as possible. i don't know if its because i am a woman or who i am in general or both but i just cannot be how you are. i could if i wanted to but that would just kill me. (this is just in...
i apologize i forgot you mentioned that earlier, got lost in the thrad:):D so maybe fix your fender and then buy a separate amp for metal & fx? although that can be inconvenient and maybe you don't want the inconvenience.
and i sware fender has to have some upgraded models now i haven't checked...
i agree with you but i'm one that never will. (i have a certain occasional brief fascination and very slight understanding of electricity tho) but i want to focus more on the music and i generally like to stay light
i have no problem appreciating and paying others who are more technically...
i was going to recommend a fender amp also, my dad & uncles tone when they play together is extraordinary when it comes to clean and sparkly, but its also rings and is full and warm. depending on the song. (and when they want to distort i think it sounds pretty good)
i think you could change...
alot of my favorites use mesa & marshall too but i've also read alot of places that they aren't all their cracked up to be and it is mostly hype? i don't know i guess i will have to go try them all out too.
one of my problems is that i get embarrassed to play in the guitar stores in front of...
