preamps just do there thing channel strips are preamps with eq compression and lot of other toys in it

sonar 2 rules i use a delta 66 into it all i need to do is assign a mono channel to channel 1&2,3&4 left or right arm the baby then record

the drums are a bit phasey bass is a bit dull but it seems to work with the mix good job

a stereo signal is 2 channels left and right. so 2 mics 2 channels paned left and right very simple good luck

i second that with 2 thumbs up the dmp3 is a mic preamp not a high wattage amplifier so it wont boost much at all

realy there is no best mic there crapy ones though its all personal prefence so listen to some mics and make your choice peace

i love the sonar 2 UI for now i wouldnt change it for anything :)
