Did you arm the track? Did you adjust the gain? What about the mixer, did you adjust the gain, the channel volume, the main volume?

the whole thing about going from digital to analog and back to digital isnt the greatest idea. Yes it might add some gush. However, Think about all the resistance your putting your audio through. If its in the box keep it in the box. Analog to digital is alright, I like it.

when i play or record on my 22-2 the reel kinda spins lopsided and it rubs up against the tape every three quarters of a turn and it bothers me cuase i dont my tapes wearing at the edges. can anybody tell how i should fix it?
And yes the takeup reel is secure on the spindle.
