I have not checked the Yamahas, but I own Dynaudio BM8A's (not the 5's), and found them to be excellent and diverse- especially for acoustic guitar

Jusy to throw in a thought along those lines- even though it's not 'modeler' as such, a Tascam CD-GT1 can you get some decent sounds for rehearsal and have some help also with learning songs, tuning, etc.
