If its an mg series, you can use the effects loop to do exactly that. If you want to monitor through the main outs on the mixer, only plug them the back of the mixer halfway. If it doesnt matter, just plug them in all the way.

Check out the yamaha mg series. I have the mg16/4 and it works awesoem with my dual delta 44 setup. It doesnt really have direct outs, but it has effects loops that you can use as direct outs.
