Hi,
I'd like to ask you about this thread you wrote few years ago..

I've found the same noisy sound on my 8th channel as you record on your 6th channel. Have you found out any solutions? Which IC is broken? Is it really TL072 op amp broken?
I plug out the I/O PCB but there is no TL072, just two OP for each channel I guess : 5147 and 4580.
which one has to be changed? I guess TL072 is almost the same but is that really helpful?

I have both the owners manual and service manual, but not in PDF form. I could copy you the owners manual but the service manual is a ton of pages. the owners manual could get you started. it even has electroic calibration instructions

Searching the net for info on my 80-8 ..found this site..Does any one have the 80-8 books in PDF format?
