It's been quite a long time since i used that mixer and I never became very proficient at it! I have since moved from Tascam gear to pro tools and 1/2 inch tape with some decent channel strips. There was a video with the tascam that was very helpful. I would try to get my hands on that. Maybe You Tube will have some tutorials. Good luck!
