I've been doin gthe music thing since I was 12 or so and I'm now in my 40's (how the heck did that happen?). I'm influenced by alot by bands like Dream Theater and Nightwish as well as film scores (John Williams is the man). I am now getting my home studio up and running. Here's a quick list of the toys:
Computer: 2011 21" iMac
DAW: Pro Tools 10
Interface: Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL
Mics: Rode NT2a, Shure SM57, AKG D112, a pair of MXL 840s, and a Carvin CM68 (Shure 58 clone)
Extras: The Eleven Rack, Muse Receptor (2U blue one), and Novation Zero SL mkII
Instruments: Guitars and basses from: Brian Moore, Carvin, Godin, Ibanez, Squier, and more; Roland XP-80, and a 5pc Sonor fusion kit with Sabian cymbals.
