Firewire - to - USB???

Hi Everyone!!

i'm looking for a digi 002 or a new mackie onyx i series of desks compatible with pro tools, for more "ins" that my little m box. The only problem is that i use a one year old aluminium macbook with no firewire ports, so are there any firewire to usb adaptors and if there is, would it be compatible with the 002 or onyx? Can anyone recommend anything?

No such thing exists. You can't convert USB protocols to Firewire protocols and vice versa.
