Silly as it sounds, thats what I'm working with. Standard 10x11 room. I've been working on getting my own equipment and such. I have a condenser mic, my midi keyboard and reason and a few recording progams. The programs aren't important. What I'd like to know is, whats the best way I should set this thing up? I'm planning on dedicating one of the walls to just my computer, keyboard and probably the mic since my closet isn't really big enough to fit a person. I know this isn't probably the best sound area to record (mainly hip-hop.) Any tips for some basic (I don't want to call it soundproofing but,) I guess just something to distort some of the outside noise. Play around with the idea in your head, or if you've got something sort of similar, let me know what it is and how it works for you. I'm quite open for suggestion at this point.
