Clearing Movie Samples

My band uses a sampler to put small clips of dialog and things from movies in our music. How do we go about clearing samples with the people who own the movies we got them from so that we can put them on a disk and sell it? The clips we use are rarely over 5 seconds in length.

check the credits at the end of the film.
it will tell you who published the film. the publishing house owns (and controls) the rights to the film.

my move would be to contact them directly if no one here knows anything.
