Is this audition autotuned?

Hi,

I worked on vocals and also Melodyne so much that I would call myself an expert on this software.
On both of your tracks I didn't hear anything that sounds significantly like pitch correcting. For sure it's not auto-tuned, because that would sound totally different.

I mean it's impossible to know that there is no pitch correction involved, but if there is, it's only a little bit and doesn't really matter.
You would never hear anything like that as soon as there are instruments.
You should also know that vocals without music can sometimes have strange artifacts or sound strange, even without any tuning.

I also don't hear anything dead give away sounds or artefacts.
It didn't sound accurate enough for me to be suspicious, to be honest.

If you're really concerned but think someone would lie because they've already tried to bluff, just ask him and call his bluff.
Don't say "did you use a tuning plugin".
Say "Hi, we liked your demo - could you send another with no processing at all, please?" and see what comes back.

I really don't think it's been tuned, though.
