We are the flavors of still evolution
data drenched and poured for molds
made of blue, white and blood red.
I've survived to bend my motions,
and save the soul from certain,
inevitable, unavoidable decay
This is the mystery of law.

Man practices infinitly for perfection
with a nod to simple past;
we are the future text book wisdom.
I exist only to survive now,
but a word has a shelf life
beyond this thin strip of electricity.

There's a difference between lyrics and poetry. I know some folks set poetry to music, but with no idea what style of music you have in mind, that's the best I can say.

I don't know either...usually when I try to write a song with lyrics I say everything I have to say in the first line...everything after that is just misguided padding. Maybe I'll just repeat the line over and over like...Why don't we do it in the road, noone will be watching us, why don't we do it in the road?

I just aim for something somewhere between cohesive and easy to understand and poetic and interesting. I guess thats the goal of music and poetry so yeah. I think this meaning is pretty easy to grasp, but I dunno, maybe I'm just crazy.
