What materials would be best in blocking a spoken word. Normal speak.

They should be compact and easily transportable.

I suspect loads of us could build you something that would work perfectly, but we're interested in recording, not preventing recording. I wonder if you joined the right forum, or possibly have some deeper motive for a very, very strange post!

Mission Darkness seem to be an ultra crazy group of people who make lots of money preying on people's concerns and gullibility, based on the products and the costs. If you want a phone that doesn't share your conversations, borrow your grannies, as these only make calls!

Really there is loads of you who can do it?
That makes me very happy.

I also have an amateur home studio and am not a totall novice,
so I am happy to hear there is loads of people who can do it.

If one of those people would contact me I will
gladly pay him because I am not an audio pro, only an amateur
and it is much better for me to just pay for my box, than to improvise.

Well That is my deeper motive. To pay and to solve it.

Here is the deal: I will paypal you 50$ just for your time and you tell me what you can do.
You will need 5 min for that. I paypal you before we talk.

Then if I like your solution, I pay you for it and you build.

Moderator: thank you for keeping this thread here, I did not know of a better place to post it on this forum....sorry to see that lack of sound is not what you are after! :)

tell me your exact requirements and i can solve your problem
it may be cheap or it may be expensive
dont know cant say until i know ALL that you really want to do

you will have to pay my consulting rates for the time it takes to devise a solution
normally 900 per hour
but for you only 300 per hour

caveat: you do not get to add any requirements after i give you a solution by coming up with new ones as an excuse why the solution is not acceptable but you have to specify exactly every requirement in advance

or you could see how
cia has solved how to do it -- for sure and it actually works
you could ask them about it
or look up public info on how they do entire rooms so people cant hear or record you

your so called solution in the OP would fail to techniques CIA and mossad and KGB and others have used for years
so as clever as you think it is it is still a big fail

I just put mine in a bowl of cheerios (with milk) big brother can't hear shit.

I believe that Sweetwater sells an industrial grade aluminum foil that works just as well. And there are tinfoil hat plans all over the internets. Just Google DIY Tinfoil Hat. :D

I like expensive equipment. So I'm using an sealed astronaut helmet.
