I'm excited as a kid on Xmas eve. It started when a hard drive failed on my 7 yr old computer. That led to a new DAW. That made me think that there had to be a more elegant studio design than setting my monitor and keyboard on an IKEA table with my rack gear in a rack boxes. So I am getting an RTA Producers desk delivered tomorrow. Now, with all this new rack space, I needed something to better fill it...an Emperical Labs Lil Freq is on it's way....my 1st outboard EQ. But one wants to be able to mix AND track with outboard gear so I reconfigured my cabling with a patchbay, and cables, and a rack mount power strip, and... BTW....I have a Summit TLA-100 that I have only used to track, the bay will make it easy to mix with it too.
