Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find the plans of a pro studio's cable routing and layout. I would be really interested to see any example of how the patch bay is setup in relation to the outboard gear, how snakes are fed off to the various live rooms as well as headphone lines.

I see a lot of photos of actual studios, but I am more interested photos of where the wires meet, how, and their configuration flexibility.

You won't find pics of more "pro" wiring/patchbay/cabling than this. However, I doubt if you will find any actual schematic of their system layouts, but you this may give you an idea of how complex a REAL pro studio can be. Unbelievable. 4 months/3 people..soldering, wiring, pulling cable etc. You may have to search the entire thread to find tidbits of what you are looking for, but like I said, you won't find more pro than this. Although, the second one is a close contender, which is the "technical" thread of the third link.

Got any pics of the technical stuff Rod? I've seen your pics of the Live Room, but finding pics during the equipment install stage are pretty rare. Probably because of the ole proprietary "mystique" thing.:)
