'Wahooo. I finally got my rigind fiberglass. this is the thing, my father is a contractor and got me a great deal, here is the kicker, its 5/8'. will this do any thing on its own or do I really need to layer them. They are mostly gonna be High absorbers. Well I knew you guys would know. Oh yeah one more while im at it. What freqs am I looking at having a problems with doing solo acoustic. I guess what Im tying to say is, what are the problem freqs with an acoustic guitar. Thanks in advance all

Yeah, you can stack it in layers.

The problem freqs are more related to the dimensions and finish of your room rather than the physics of an acoustic guitar.

Most likely, you'll want to treat a broadband of 250-500Hz. Those are the frequencies most folks have problems with in a small room.
