Corner desk placement a no-no?

I'm sure it is, but just double checking.

I'm probably going to be doing everything in phones and 90% in the box anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter.

I don't pretend that anyone except maybe a few friends will hear anything I do, and I can just tell them to use headphones.

They're all smart enough to know that it's not going to be the same.

It's just that a corner desk would work so much better for my layout.

Now that I read this, I don't know why I bothred asking.

Maybe somebody else considering the same thing will get something out of it, though.

A corner desk if ok - as long as your monitor speakers are not in a corner. Acoustic treatment (bass traps, not foam) is needed in 99% of all home studios.
