Cheaper Neoprene

They have solid and "sponge" neoprene. The solid is available in several durometers and thicknesses from 1/16" to 1" thick, but when I went, they didn't have 1/2" in anything less than 60 durometer. The solid comes in 36" and 48" wide, sold by the linear foot. The sponge is 54" wide.

For an example of price, 1/2"X36" 60 durometer is around $18/linear foot. The same in 1/4" is about $9. I think 1/16" is a little under $2. I don't know about shipping since I can just drive over:D. I've seen someone post a quote from Binkelman at $139 for 4'x6'x3/8", which is roughly twice Southern Rubber.

Anyone know of a good way to glue neoprene to concrete and/or wood?

I used contact cement to glue it to wood. It was the kind where you coat both surfaces and let it get tacky then press them together. It worked great.

what would be the optimum variety to use? I'm starting to get materials together for my studio and will need the neoprene for between the baseplates and concrete floor.
Thanks
