Building a Wall-Insulation and Wall Material

I will be moving into a new place in May to start my own studio. I've been recording in my home for the past 2 years.
I'm going to have to build a wall to seperate my control room from my drum/live room. I began doing research last week on the the best way to do this.

Here's what I have so far:

For the frame: Staggered timber studs (so each stud will only be touching one side of the wall).

For insulation: Need help here... What should I use?

For wall material: Need help here as well... What should I use?

And if you can and #'s (reflection ratio, STC, etc.) please include them with the type of material.

Do you have AutoCAD 14 or later by any chance?

Because I have it drafted out in AutoCAD. If not, I'll have to make a jpg or bmp.

ram3n - check out this page - it will give you the STC readings.

I'd use 5/8" sheetrock with 4" rockwool in the cavity.

cheers
john
