I have cut down the size of my big workstation/desk to get my mixing arena out of the corner and closer to the middle of the room. I have also built a solid oak 24 space rack, built new speaker stands to accomodate my trusty old Alesis M1's and I have covered 4 of 6 panels of Owens-Corning 703 which are now waiting to be mounted on the wall behind the keyboard. One of the 4 will go behind the guitar amps and act as a corner bass trap.
The audio monitoring has certainly changed (less bass showing up in my mixes).
I still have a lot of equipment to set-up and connections to make and I'm gettin tired.
