lets play

she hates me wholly
the look of my back enthrals her in a bad way
except for the fact i'm moving away from her
id be fish food in the south side creek

her meter is so strict but some how soulful
i find it hard to get in step
maybe im soulless
yes i guess

i better flee
like a bird in the wrong climate
hope to catch the last wind of autumn
and glide back to my comfort zone

but its not to be
she has me in her sights
a dead aim girl who whips this sorry world
im no match for her solemn gaze

could she be a mellow night girl
or would she agree to a late night bonfire
i swing my best demeanor toward her good side
let us see what she says

so she says to me, who are you
i play along gleeless
i say i am your happy man
i see a hint of play

she asks me of my tailor
says my cut is dope
i pull out my silk wallet
she finds it hard to cope

she orders sushi wontons
and eats them wholly live
exuberant uber guy shows up
and swifts her off my cuff

ye her aim was tween my dead eyes
she took me like a weak
she called me up the next week
and lowly said let us play
