working out loop tempo vs pitch

hi guys

ok - if i have a loop of known BPM and known recording pitch (say C3) - is there a simple calculation to work out how the tempo will change vs an increase/reduction in pitch. e.g loop in running at 120bpm at C3, what will be the tempo at B below C3? (i don't want a specific answer to the example as i just made it up!)

hope someone can help.

thanks guys

Yes, there's a calculation, but it ain't pretty, since pitch is logarithmic in nature, not linear. Easiest way is to find a frequency to pitch chart on google, take the ratio of frequencies of destination pitch and original pitch, multiply that to the original BPM.
