Sending Mono tracks from Logic X to Tascam 424

Hi, newbie question here. I am having a hard time sending mono tracks from Logic X via my Apollo twin using 3-4 out puts to separate tracks on my tascam 424. Are there settings on the Apollo that I need to configure?
I have one instrument track for piano and a drum track but both are being sent to track 1 of the 424
Any advice is really appreciated

I'm not sure how you have set this all up, but there are some things you need to do (which you may have done already).

In Logic, route the two tracks of interest (piano and drum) to output channels 3 & 4.

Connect the 3 & 4 outputs of the Apollo to the Tascam, using separate Tascam inputs for each. Use line inputs which the Tascam should have somewhere.
