Radial Headload Prodigy vs. JDX Direct Drive for direct electric guitar recording

Has anybody tried both of these for direct guitar recording? I need a way to record convincing and realistic sounding guitar tracks, but silently. I might buy them both and decide which I like best, but I thought I'd check to see what the folks here thought first. Thanks!

Hi there!

The Headload Prodigy and the JDX Direct-Drive will both offer very realistic sounds when used for silent recording. It really comes down to whether or not you would rather take a direct signal from your amplifier or use amp simulation directly out of your pedal board. Both sound good! Thus, either one will work for you, it just depends on your application.

We have a JDX Direct-Drive video coming out soon- stay tuned!
