pre-amp for ribbon mic

i would go for it. ive heard very good things about the gap 73. and have not heard anything bad about it.
 
Do it. Gap has tons of gain, and can do clean or colored. It is a nice match with ribbon mics.

I run a Fat Head through it all the time and it's great for guitar cabs, harmonica, banjo, acoustic guitars, and I'm sure several other sources.
