Needing Help

[I Need Help]

Hi I am very new to 'recording' - not a technical person at all.

Here is my question. I want to record guided meditations for my clients and be able to send them an mp3 file and also to burn a cd.

I want the quality to be professional.

I do not want to spend a lot of money on equipment/programs.

Any suggestions? Remember go easy - I'm a Newbie in this area.

There are a few makers now that offer small hardware/software packages for creating podcasts for the Internet. These packages usually consist of a quality entry-level microphone, some simple recording software and a utility for converting the recording to MP3, and are made for ease of use for the non-engineer. Your computer probably already has a CD burner and software in it. Combine those and you should be ready to go.
