I want to record Skype interviews with my tablet, digital recorder, and maybe a mixer. I would use my tablet for Skype, the internal mic(so the guest can hear me), and have an audio line out going into a mixer. I'd have a mic going into the mixer for my voice. I would have the line out of the mixer going into my digital recorder's mic jack. Would this allow me to record both voices into the digital recorder?
I tried using a Y-adapter alone, have my mic and the Skype audio going into the mic jack, but when I plugged audio in it cut off my mic.
