I've done a solid version of a song but stupidly didn't check if it was in a reasonable key for my vocals. Trying to reach notes is blowing my head off. Can Sonar 7 tracks be lowered in key to allow for this ? Thank you.
Not that I am aware - I use Sonar Platinum now. I pitch shift using my Lexicon Effects Pitch Shifter plugin. I'm sure there's free pitch shifters out there.
You can tempo change using audio snap but that's all I know about.
I believe Sonar 6 could transpose audio, but the results weren't very good sounding. That means 7 should be able to do it, but don't count on the quality. Try "Edit - Transpose" and see if the option is there.
