there is a fine example of my problem on www.myspace.com/disonanceuk
( my bands myspace ) on the track called pilate.
i dont mean to draw attention from the other toms cutting through thread but as i record a roland kit, i dont use miks. and everything is on 1/2 tracks for drums.
neway, listen to pilate, can barely hear the toms!!!
i think that mix may have been a bit heavy on the guitar side, but i have tried mixing several differnt ways and i still cant get the toms to cut through.
basic suggestions would be change the toms on the roland, but are there any other options?
