Fostex d2424 plays back slow

I made a recording of a band using a d2424 and now I would like to mix it down. I have set at 24 bit with a sample rate of 48 (the same as when i recorded). What's the problem and how can i fix it?

Even though you say you recorded at 48kHz sampling, I'd check that you didn't accidentally have it at 88.2 or 96kHz. Speed problems are very often to do with a mismatch in sample rate. I guess the other thing to check is the sync menu to see if it's trying to lock to a wrong frame rate or world clock rate.

ok thank's i'll check. Do you think if I change the frame rate or sync with midi and just speed it up, it will work
