electric guitars and lavatories

Hey
At our church for the live house mix, our electric guitar player locks his amp in a used-to-be bathroom backstage to reduce bleed into the house and other rooms. The problem is its a drywall room about 5'x5' and a ceramic tile floor. What would be a good way to treat this room to make it into a useable amp isolatin room?

Throw a couple blankets over the amp and close the door. Offer does not apply to tube amps, for longer than twenty minutes or so, anyway.

How does it sound? I don't think I would ever throw blankets over the amp even if it's solidstate. That's just begging for a fire or blown circuit.

If the room is too live sounding then put up some rigid fiberglass or heavy packing blankets on the wall.

the blanket thing works, but put them up on the WALLS, not over the amp

this will pretty much kill off all of the room reflections, so that you can close-mike the amp, and hear just the amp

Curtains, blankets, carpets, etc, maybe some large cushions to reduce low frequency boom. Just hang up the blankets on the walls... should sound ok
