hey. I have uploaded 2 vocal tests .
One is using a SM58 and the other a SE2000 Condenser. Both are dry.
I have my back to a room corner, behind me hanging in the corner is a large duvet, floor to ceiling. In front of me is the mic stand and in front of that hangs another large duvet. Hanging on the ceiling above is some carpet.
So Im not completely enclosed but the mic and I are effectively surrounded by duvets
What Im keen to know is 'how does my vocal space sound'

Please take a listen, The samples include some soft singing, some slightly harder singing then some spoken word.
Thanks in advance

yeah they really are close, that surprised me..a Sm57 was slightly harsher... what about the quality of the space, too boxy? too muffled? too roomy? or would you say a vocal recorded in this set up is workable??
what do you mean by headroom??
thanks
