Does anyone know of any good online documents for recording techniques? I have pretty good equipment (Macbookpro, Firepod, Firestudio Project, GNX4 Pedal, Spider III amp, MICS, good chords, etc...) but my stuff really sounds very sub-par. I'm sure it's my techniques but would love to read up on the correct way to record such things as guitars (Pedals vs Mics), Digital Drum Kits while eliminating hum, static, etc.

What's your main techniques? What works the best?
