stupid question: why electronic drum kits doesn't have "ride cymbal" ?

I own a Roland vdrums kit, it DOES have a ride. In fact, every brain Roland makes has a jack for a ride trigger, even the cheapest model. So does every Hart and Pintech kit I ever saw.. What kind of e-drums do you have?? Even if there isn't a jack that says 'Ride', maybe there's an 'Aux' jack you can assign a ride sample to. You could take ANY input for that matter, like the 4th tom or a crash cym, and assign a ride sample to it.
