    Studio One track bleed question

I imported an mpg file onto one of my tracks in Studio One. Then I set up a new track to play keyboards against the mpg track. When I go to record on the keys track, I notice that the mpg track is bleeding into the key track, at a lower level. I have no idea why. I finally gave up and used the Audacity software I have and did the same thing, same computer, same interface, same keyboard. No bleed. Any idea why Studio One is doing that?

    Thx,
    Mark

Look at your routing...and check your FX/Processing applications. Somewhere the tracks are mixing together.
It's not a Studio One issue.

    What's your interface?

What kind of keyboard are you recording? How do you have everything connected?

Are you recording midi or audio?
