Studio one software open and ready to record--no audio from browser, help please

Hey i am trying to record a cover of a track using my shure sm57 and guitar and want to play the backing track from my browser while recording.
This is the first recording i've ever done and i have this problem that whenever my recording software is open i get no sound from my browser :facepalm:
That is, audio from youtube etc. can be heard right up untill halfway through launching my studio one software when it simply cuts off.
Any help would be appreciated!
 
You'll probably have to download your music and import it into whatever you're using as a DAW rather than trying to do it "live" from the web.
